After the long summer break, it’s normal to feel a bit rusty. Whether you haven’t touched your French in a few weeks or a few years, this immersion day is the perfect gentle way to get back on the saddle — and rediscover how much French you actually remember.
Designed for elementary learners with previous exposure to French, this fun-filled day will help you regain confidence through engaging activities, real-life role plays, and cultural immersion — all in a warm, supportive environment.
🌞 The Programme
9:00 – 10:30am | Icebreakers & Refresher Class
We start the day reconnecting with French in a fun and friendly way. You’ll revise essential structures, activate vocabulary, and gently warm up your speaking muscles.
10:30 – 11am | Morning Tea
Enjoy a well-earned break with delicious French-style morning tea.
11:00 – 12:30pm | Le Marché: Role-Play & Picnic
Let’s go to the market — without leaving the classroom! You’ll take part in a lively role-play where you’ll act as vendors and customers discovering French national and regional specialties.
12:30-2pm | Picnic in the parc
Weather permitting, we’ll picnic à la française in the park next door, enjoying everything we’ve “bought” together. The picnic will be comfortably set, with tables and chairs.
2:30 – 5pm | Fun Class & Cultural Activities
Time to relax and enjoy learning with your ears and eyes. French songs, videos, mini quizzes and playful exercises will gently reinforce the day’s learning. We finish the day with a treat, a chat, and a final burst of French to end on a high note.

- You’re a regular French à la Carte student looking for a refresher before Term 1
- You’re a new student wanting to reconnect with French in a relaxed setting
- You’re not a total beginner, but you’re not sure where you stand — call us to check your level, we’ll help you find your feet!
👉 Not suitable for complete beginners. If you’ve ever studied French — even if you feel like you’ve forgotten it all — this is for you. We’ll find that French hiding in your brain and bring it back to life!
